Optimizing Supplier Selection and Order Lot-Sizing Decisions in a Two-Stage Supply Chain

چکیده

This paper analyzes different lot-sizing policies for the supplier selection and order allocation problem in a two-stage supply chain. The chain consists of multiple candidate suppliers single buyer. In this system, selected produce product batches at finite production rates, ship it to buyer, buyer sells market constant demand rate. Our goal is evaluate two select one that optimizes by minimizing total cost maximizing efficiency. A bi-objective mixed-integer nonlinear programming (BOMINLP) model proposed. first objective development coordination mechanism minimizes entire cost, second comprises data envelopment analysis (DEA) approach overall performance optimize Then, lot-for-lot frequency are applied BOMINLP separately determine set as well corresponding quantities number orders allocated each per replenishment cycle. Numerical examples illustrate solution compare provided.

A Multi-objective Mathematical Model for Sustainable Supplier Selection and Order Lot-Sizing under Inflation

Recently, scholars and practitioners have shown an increased interest in the field of sustainable supplier selection and order lot-sizing. While several studies have recently carried out on this field, far too little attention has been given to formulating a multi-objective model for the integrated problem of multi-period multi-product order lot-sizing and sustainable supplier selection under i...

Production and distribution lot sizing in a two stage supply chain

We develop a two stage model of a manufacturing supply chain. This two stage production transportation model features capacitated production in two stages, and a fixed cost (or concave cost) for transporting the product between the stages. We prove several properties of this model, which we call the Two Stage Production Distribution Problem (2SPDP) model. By placing “non-speculative” assumption...

Inventory lot-sizing with supplier selection

This paper presents a multi-period inventory lot-sizing scenario, where there are multiple products and multiple suppliers. We consider a situation where the demand of multiple discrete products is known over a planning horizon. Each of these products can be sourced from a set of approved suppliers, a supplier-dependent transaction cost applying for each period in which an order is placed on a ...

Optimizing inventory and sales decisions in a two-stage supply chain with imperfect production and backorders

This paper develops a model of an integrated vendor–buyer supply chain with imperfect production and shortages. We assume that market demand is sensitive to the buyer’s selling price and thus study combined operations and pricing decisions in the supply chain. We first derive the expected profit per unit of time using the well-known renewal-reward theorem, and then maximize profit for the cases...

A Supplier Selection Model for Social Responsible Supply Chain

Due to the importance of supplier selection issue in supply chain management (SCM) and ,also,  the increasing tendency of organizations to their social responsibilities, In this paper, we survey the supplier selection issue as a multi objective problem while considering the factor of corporate social responsibility (CSR) as a mathematical parameter. The purpose of this paper is to design a mode...
